Yo Ho Hold My Rein

Barn Name: Pirate

Reference: Legendary Pirates

Ahoy there, ye landlubbers—gather close and hear the tale of Patxi, better known across these parts as Pirate, the grand old seadog of our herd!

At 27 years seasoned (aye, seasoned well like a fine cask o’ rum) and standing 15.1 hands tall, this Quarter Horse gelding be the very picture of calm waters and steady winds. From the first moment we laid eyes on him, we knew—this was no ordinary beast, but a captain meant to sail with our crew.

Out on the trails, Pirate be as brave as any corsair who ever faced a storm. Not a rustle nor shadow can shake him, and he carries riders of all skill like precious cargo across the seven seas—or, well… the fields and woods, but ye get the idea. His gentle ways and roguish charm have captured every heart in the barn, especially that of fair Josie, who fell for him faster than a ship drops anchor.

When he’s not bearing riders upon his sturdy back, ye’ll find him showing off those fine Quarter Horse moves—smooth as a calm tide—or else grazing lazily in the sun, or dozing beside his beloved Josie. But make no mistake, even at rest, one eye’s always open, watching over his herd like the true captain he is.

Aye, Pirate be a rare treasure—worth more than gold and twice as handsome. And we count ourselves the luckiest crew alive to share our days with this noble old salt.
