We have an upcoming opportunity for riders to take a clinic with Emory & Henry University IHSA Coach, Ashley Miller! November 22-23rd riders have the opportunity to have a session diving into a focus such as, Equitation & Biomechanics of The Rider, Getting The Best Out of Your Horse, or The Judge’s Perspective. Ashley Miller is an "R" judge, providing insightful tools from "The Judge’s Perspective" for the rider to utilize when preparing to show such as, strategy, what to do before even entering the ring, the format of catch riding (IEA/IHSA). For hunters/equitation, the tradition of judging, the point system, why things are faulted, etc. Ashley focuses on equitation and how it affects the quality of the horse, temperament, and its way of going and jumping. Some of you may have met her at Meadowbrook Stables where she taught lessons and showed.

This clinic would be a suitable fit for riders in 5th grade to adults.

Riders will be able to ride in groups of up to 6 participants each.

Please share with your equestrian friends, this is an event open to the public and we do provide trailer parking and event stalling for those who would like to trailer-in their horses to participate.

Auditing is also an option for those who are interested in learning but not riding.
