We are thrilled to welcome CCI3* rider and owner of Crossfire Stables, Lauren Sumner, to Wrenacyn on March 28th for a special cross-country education day! Lauren brings extensive upper-level eventing experience and a clear, confidence-building teaching style that makes the sport accessible and fun for developing riders. The day will begin with an Intro to Cross Country talk, where Lauren will break down the fundamentals of the discipline—safety, pace, balance, terrain, rider position, and how to approach different types of obstacles—paired with a demo ride to show these concepts in action. Afterward, riders will have the exciting opportunity to participate in small-group lessons over cross-country questions on Wrenacyn’s brand-new on-site course, designed specifically for walk-trot-canter jump students who are ready to explore the next step in their riding journey. This is a fantastic chance for riders to learn from an accomplished professional while gaining real cross-country experience in a supportive and structured environment.
